A Roslyn teenager has been found after being missing for five days, the Nassau County Police Department’s Missing Persons Squad reported.
According to detectives, 15 year old Joanna Carnero was last seen leaving her Remsen Avenue residence on Wednesday around 10:00 p.m. Her disappearance was reported to police on Thursday at 2:30 a.m.
Carnero was described by police as a female, five feet and three inches tall, and 120 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. Her clothing description and possible destination were unknown at the time.
Police announced in a statement released Monday night that she had been located after five days.
Efforts to reach Carnero’s family were unavailing.
