Roslyn Heights native and St. John’s University student, Anjalie Deonarine, has been selected to participate in the 1-800-FLOWERS.COM, Inc. summer internship program.

1-800-FLOWERS.COM, Inc., a leading gourmet food and floral gift provider for all occasions, has selected 40 college students to participate in their summer internship program, located at their corporate headquarters in Carle Place. Throughout the 10-week program, interns work closely with teams across the business, including IT, engineering, finance, marketing, and many more.

As part of this dynamic program, interns participate in a variety of engaging activities including weekly ‘lunch and learn’ sessions hosted by teams and executives throughout the company, as well as skill-building workshops. Interns are also encouraged to develop and share ideas that will enhance the business – and will have the opportunity to present their ideas to company leadership at the end of the summer. These interns are bringing new thinking and fresh energy into the 1-800-FLOWERS.COM, Inc. office.
