Luciana Bradley, the principal of Saddle Rock School in the Great Neck Public Schools, was an honoree at the Town of North Hempstead’s annual Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration on Oct. 10.

During a ceremony at the Town of North Hempstead “Yes We Can” Community Center in Westbury, Town Supervisor Judi Bosworth and the Town Council applauded Bradley for her contributions to the community.

Bradley’s culturally diverse family experience, as well as her commitment to a collaborative leadership approach towards educating children, has allowed her to affect positive change within her school building and throughout the community.

Bradley has been an administrator in the Great Neck Public Schools for the past twelve years. She joined the district as the assistant principal of Saddle Rock School in 2005 and was promoted to principal in 2018.

Bradley’s career in education also includes experience as an administrator in the Huntington Station School District and ten years as a fourth and fifth-grade teacher at the Signal Hill Elementary School in Dix Hills.

National Hispanic Heritage Month is celebrated each year from Sept. 15 through Oct. 15.
