North High School will present “Little Shop of Horrors,” the Broadway and Hollywood sci-fi hit musical by Howard Ashman and Alan Menken on Thursday and Friday, Nov. 15 and 16, at 7:30 p.m., and on Saturday, Nov. 17 at 8 p.m. in the school’s auditorium at 35 Polo Road.

Please note that there will not be a performance on Saturday afternoon, which is listed the district calendar.

“Little Shop of Horrors” tells the tale of meek floral assistant Seymour Krelborn, who stumbles across a new breed of plant that he names “Audrey II,” after his coworker crush. This foul-mouthed, R&B-singing carnivore promises unending fame and fortune to the down-and-out Krelborn as long as he keeps feeding it what it wants—blood. Over time, though, Seymour discovers Audrey II’s out-of-this-world origins and intent towards global domination.
