The students were given three compliment cards to hand out to other students in grades eight through 12, as well as adults other than their own teachers, throughout the day. As the seventh graders found kind words to say or distributed hand-written letters of kindness, they also handed out their compliment cards.

The Orange and Black Team cards were brought to the Main Office by the end of the day, where the team with the most cards contributed would be deemed the winner. The Orange Team was deemed the winner.

This special event acted as the springboard, as Carey gets ready to celebrate its second annual P.S. I Love You Day on Feb. 14.
