The Elmont Memorial High School Business Honor Society wanted to acknowledge the service and sacrifice of our veterans. The students sponsored a series of bake sales, and staff members assisted their endeavors with a dress-down day. The group was pleased to present the Catholic Charities Homeless Veterans program with a check for $600, which will be used for emergency food and personal care items.
