GNPS TV announces concert performances

Great Neck Public Schools Television (GNPS/TV) is currently airing two winter concerts featuring performances by North Middle School and South Middle School musicians. Tune in now to watch North Middle Grade 7–8 Winter Concert and South Middle Winter Concert 1.

GNPS/TV programs are available on-demand, 24/7, on the school district website, www.greatneck.k12.ny.us/tv. Programs can also be viewed in the incorporated villages of Great Neck on Optimum Channel 75 and on Verizon Fios Channel 32. Airing times in program descriptions below are for Optimum and Verizon Fios viewing.

North Middle Winter Concert

North Middle Winter Concert includes performances by the North Middle Chorus, Concert Band, and String Orchestra from their concert on Dec. 11. All three performing groups feature musicians in grades 7 and 8. Instrumental groups are under the direction of Matthew Trinkwald, music department head, and vocal groups are under the direction of Arielle Murdocco.

North Middle Winter Concert airs at 8 a.m., and 12, 4, and 8 p.m.

South Middle Winter Concert 1

South Middle Winter Concert 1 includes performances by the South Middle Senior Orchestra, Senior Chorus, and Senior Band from their concert on Dec. 10. Instrumental groups are under the direction of Alan Schwartz, music department head, Mark Boschen, and Andrew DeNise. Vocal groups are under the direction of Korey Coppola.

South Middle Winter Concert airs at 10 a.m., and 2, 6, and 10 p.m.
