Great Neck Public School District’s annual Faculty Recital

The annual Great Neck Public Schools Faculty Recital will be held on Thursday, Oct. 24, at 7 P.M., in the South Middle School Auditorium, 349 Lakeville Rd. (Please note that the recital venue has changed from the location printed in the 2019–20 District Calendar.)

You won’t want to miss this exhilarating evening of outstanding music provided by GNPS faculty and friends! Performing solo or in groups, instrumental and vocal musicians will give concert-hall-caliber presentations. Highlights from this year’s recital will include classical music selections, show tunes, classic rock songs, vocal and instrumental jazz classics, and much more!

Suggested ticket prices, at the door, are $5 for students and seniors, and $10 for adults. Proceeds will benefit the Music Scholarship Fund, which awards scholarships to graduating seniors who plan to continue musical studies. Light refreshments will be available.

Music faculty who will be performing (with their school) include: Korey Coppola (South Middle), Patrick Kennedy (Kennedy), Alexandra Lambraia (Kennedy), Chad Lasky (Saddle Rock), Dr. Pamela Levy (North High), Dr. Janine Robinson (South High), Joseph Rutkowski (North High), Michael Schwartz (South High), Alexander Swerdlin (district), and Jacquelyn Tomlet (Lakeville).

Non-music faculty/administration performers include: Stephen Goldberg (Village), Julie Goldin (Baker/Saddle Rock), Daniel Holtzman (North High), Dr. Stephen Lando (administration), Dr. David Manuel (South High), Thomas Marr (South High), Ilana Meredith Schikler (North High), Roger Telsey (Kennedy), Lou Vigliotti (North Middle), and Robert Zahn (South Middle).
