Each year, the Great Neck Public Schools Board of Education announces its Goals for the coming school year. At the meeting on Oct. 18, the board announced their goals for 2018–19, as follows:
- To support the transition of the district’s new administrative staff.
- To continue to monitor the progress of capital reserve and bond-approved projects, and ensure communication of such progress with the community.
- To consolidate three Board of Education Advisory Committees into two by combining the Financial Advisory Committee and the Building Advisory Committee, and to share reports about Committee meetings with the community at Board of Education meetings and on the district website.
- To review and assess all security measures.
