Over the past few weeks, each grade level at Lakeville School studied the geography, history, language, art, and culture of a different country: Australia, Canada, Ghana, India, and the Netherlands.
Their studies culminated in a fair on Dec. 19, where students “traveled” to each country, viewed artifacts and student projects, and earned a stamp in their passport for correctly answering questions about each nation.
The activity aims to develop global citizens who are curious about places around the world and respectful of different cultures.
