Innovation and possible solutions to many of the word’s problems were on display at Manhasset High School’s 29th annual Science Research Senior Symposium, recently held in the Manhasset Secondary School auditorium.

Fourteen Manhasset seniors enrolled in the school’s science research program presented their work before an audience of parents, teachers and peers. Topics ranged from climate change to harvesting energy to finding cures for serious diseases and injuries, among others. Among the presenters were this year’s Regeneron Science Talent Search Scholars Richard Lee and Kendrick Tak.

Presenters worked under the guidance of science research teachers Alison Huenger and Diane Flanagan as well as professional scientists and researchers at various institutions.
