Manor Oaks School kindergartners in the New Hyde Park Garden City Park School District closed out the first year of their elementary school careers when the school held Kindergarten Graduation on June 13.

The “Forever Friends”-themed ceremony was highlighted by the youngsters sharing anecdotes about friendship, including how to always be there for each other and that the circle of friendship has no end. The students also sang several songs, such as “Ease on Down the Road,” “Forever Friends,” “God Bless the U.S.A.” and “You’ve Got a Friend in Me.” During each musical selection, the kindergartners danced to routines choreographed by their teachers.

Principal Ken Craft and Superintendent of Schools Dr. Jennifer Morrison presented the students with their diplomas and congratulated them on all the hard work they did throughout the school year.
