Mineola Middle School sixth-grader Justin Spera was recently recognized by Nassau County Executive Laura Curran and the county office for his dedication and service to the community.

For three years in a row, Justin was responsible for coordinating a pajama drive at his school to support the Ashley Wade Foundation and Jake’s Jammies. As a result of the drive this year, 188 sets of pajamas were donated.
