Roslyn High School senior Ross Rosenfeld was honored by the Roslyn Rotary Club at its luncheon on Oct. 18 as the October Student of the Month. His community service has included volunteering as the lead technical director and a lighting designer for the Roslyn High School Benefit Fashion Show and the Roslyn Rescue Fire Department’s Operation Wounded Warrior Concert, working as a lighting designer and usher at the Sid Jacobson JCC, volunteering as a DJ and lighting designer for various events including Jewish Community Center Annual Color Run, Roslyn Middle School Halloween Dance, Harbor Hill School Sports Night, Shortstack Annual Charity Fashion Show and Friends of RCP Broadway Night. Ross participated in leadership training at Camp Lindenmere where he also executed and designed the lighting and audio for theater performances and special events, and he participated in Cure SMA Fundraising events.
