Twelve students from the Sewanhaka Central High School District Robotics Club recently visited Google’s New York City office to meet with successful professionals and to learn about different careers in the technology field.

The visit included discussions about the history of the internet and the role that technology companies have in developing critical information infrastructure. It followed with a tour of Google’s 2.9-million-square-foot Chelsea office space.

“The opportunity to visit one of the great tech companies of our time, and to learn more about what kind of career opportunities might be available to me in the future was really meaningful,” explained one student.
