Sewanhaka Robotics Club places second in qualifier

Sewanhaka Central High School District’s Robotics Club competed at the School-Business Partnerships of LI Inc.’s FIRST Lego League robotics qualifier at Lutheran High School on Jan. 6. Out of 22 teams, Sewanhaka finished the day in second place with an overall record of seven wins and three losses. The club will be competing next at Nassau Community College on Saturday, Jan. 12, where it hopes to qualify for the Long Island regional championships.

Sewanhaka High School will be hosting two upcoming robotics qualifiers on Feb. 9 and 10. Attendance at these events is free and is open to the public.
