Forty students from Elmont Memorial, Floral Park Memorial, H. Frank Carey, New Hyde Park Memorial and Sewanhaka high schools from the Sewanhaka Central High School District attended Adelphi University’s A Day with the Arts on Oct. 5.
The students participated in hands-on theater, dance and music workshops. The following chorus teachers prepared and accompanied their students: Elmont Memorial’s Benjamin Pesenti, Floral Park Memorial’s Samantha Koch, H. Frank Carey’s Michael Moreno, New Hyde Park Memorial’s Christian McLeer and Sewanhaka’s Rachel Deloia.
