South High School will present the musical Mamma Mia! on Friday, Nov. 22, and Saturday, Nov. 23. Both performances will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the school’s auditorium, 341 Lakeville Road.
In this smash musical, ABBA’s hit songs tell the hilarious story of a young woman’s search for her birth father. This sunny and funny tale unfolds on a Greek island paradise. On the eve of her wedding, a daughter’s quest to discover the identity of her father brings three men from her mother’s past back to the island they last visited 20 years ago.
The story-telling magic of ABBA’s timeless songs propels this enchanting tale of love, laughter, and friendship, creating an unforgettable show and a trip down the aisle you’ll never forget!
Tickets can be purchased at www.theatresouthtickets.com. General admission tickets are priced from $10 to $15. Premium reserved seating is available for $35 per ticket, which includes a special intermission reception. A portion of the proceeds from the premium reserved seating will benefit scholarships for students to attend outside master classes.
