Students in Sewanhaka High School’s Students and Teachers Against Cancer Club ran a number of activities and fundraisers throughout the month of October.

As part of “Think Pink” day, the club coordinated for students and faculty to show their support and raise awareness for Breast Cancer by wearing Pink Oct. 3.

The students also held a bake sale and raised $200 for Weill Cornell Medicine. In addition, the club is also raising money for the families of two students and families with medical expenses and will be sending the families homemade quilts.
