Floral Park Memorial High School’s mock trial team recently defeated Freeport High School during a recent competition. Mock trial is an extracurricular program where students participate in rehearsed trials to learn about the legal process in a competitive manner. The club focuses on trial techniques — in doing so, it supports student public speaking and critical thinking skills. The Sewanhaka Central High School District congratulates the team on this achievement.
