The Wheatley School announces three National Hispanic Scholars

The East Williston School District is proud to announce that three students attending The Wheatley School have been recognized by the College Board National Hispanic Recognition Program for their outstanding academic performance. Congratulations to Elianny Acosta, Marco Garcia and Caitlin O’Keefe.

Each year, the College Board recognizes outstanding Hispanic/Latino high school students through their National Hispanic Recognition Program. Approximately 5,000 students nationwide from among more than 250,000 Hispanic/Latino juniors who scored in the top 10% of students on the PSAT and successfully passed at least two Advanced Placement exams are recognized.

The East Williston School District Board of Education, Superintendent of Schools Dr. Elaine Kanas, High School Principal Sean Feeney, administrators and staff congratulate these students on their academic efforts and outstanding achievements and wish them continued success.
