Twelve from Manhasset sign on to play college athletics

Twelve of Manhasset Secondary School’s varsity student-athletes recently signed National Letters of Intent to play their respective sports at the collegiate level. Director of physical education, athletics and health James Amen and Manhasset Secondary School principal Dean Schlanger hosted a ceremony in the school gymnasium, where students, donning spirit wear from their school of choice, signed their respective letters with their family members by their side.

Congratulations to the following Manhasset High School seniors who have committed to participate in collegiate athletics: Edward Arnold – lacrosse at University of Pennsylvania, Olivia Dooley – lacrosse at University of Sothern California, Christopher Glynn – lacrosse at Georgetown University, Rebecca Hance – field hockey at Colgate University, Jacklyn Mitaritonna – volleyball at Catholic University, Caroline Mondiello – lacrosse at Stanford University, Mary Nikakis – rowing at Villanova University, Louis Perfetto – lacrosse at Boston University, Casey Roszko – lacrosse at Drexel University, Erin Trotta – lacrosse at Wesleyan University, Kelly Trotta – lacrosse at Marist College and Steven Vlahakis – lacrosse at Embry-Riddle.
