Elf The Musical

Based on the popular 2003 Christmas comedy movie, “Elf The Musical” tells the story of a human, Buddy, accidentally brought to the North Pole as a child and raised by Santa’s elves, who goes to New York City to reunite with his family. Along the way, he attempts to help those he meet rediscover their joy for the Christmas season. Ticket prices range from $29 to $89.

Terry Fator

Ventriloquist and celebrity impressionist Terry Fator will be taking his comedic styles to the NYCB Theatre at Westbury. A regular performer at the Mirage Hotel in Las Vegas over the past decade, Fator’s shows were frequently sold out. He was named the winner in the second season of “America’s Got Talent.” Fator’s stand-up comedy could be fun for the whole family.

Winemaker for a Day: V.I.P. Blending Session

Sannino Vineyard will be giving willing participants the chance to make their own wine. Attendees will learn how to blend their own custom bottle of wine and see what life as a vintner entails. There must be a minimum of two people at a time to reserve per session. Each ticket ordered is for two people. Tickets are $225 per couple.

White Christmas

Based on the 1954 musical film of the same name, “White Christmas” follows two World War II veterans who put together a popular song and dance act after the war. After a singing duo of sisters gain their attention, the veterans follow them to a Vermont lodge, which is coincidentally owned by their former army commander. Advance tickets are on sale for adults at $27 and seniors over 65 at $25. After advance tickets close two hours before showtime, regular tickets will be available for $30.

CeeLo Green: Holiday Hits Tour

Five-time Grammy Award-winning singer, songwriter and producer CeeLo Green will be coming to the Suffolk Theater as part of his “Holiday Hits Tour.” Among Green’s most notable works are songs like “Forget You” and “Crazy,” with the latter coming as a member of “Gnarls Barkley,” a collaboration with producer “Danger Mouse.” Regular tickets range in price from $65 to $79. VIP tickets are on sale for $154, and include perks like a meet-and-greet and photo opportunity with CeeLo Green, as well as a CeeLo ornament and beanie.

Shadows of the 60s: A Holiday Tribute to Motown

Several famous Motown groups and performers from the 1960s will have some of their songs performed at the event. Among the notable musicians that will be honored are “The Supremes,” “The Four Tops,” Smokey Robinson, Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye and “The Temptations.” In addition to performing some of Motown’s greatest hits, the performers on hand will be singing holiday songs, including “Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer” and “Silent Night.” Ticket prices for the event range from $35 to $65.

Christmas Eve Buffet at the Mansion

In honor of Christmas Eve, the Glen Cove Mansion will be holding a special dinner buffet. Among the food items that will be on hand are honey glazed Virginia ham, filet mignon, slow roasted leg of lamb served with yogurt sauce, oysters Rockefeller, grilled calamari, grilled prawns, baked scallops “en croute,” poached salmon, mussels and baked clams. Admission is $59 for adults and $29.50 for kids from ages 5-12. Children four and under get free admission.
