Pies, cakes and cookies aren’t the only Thanksgiving staples available from an iconic member of the Roslyn culinary community this holiday.

Diane’s Bakery Cafe, renowned for its desserts, will be offering options for the main Thanksgiving meal in addition to its sweeter confections.

Founded in 1982 and situated on Bryant Avenue just off of Northern Boulevard, Diane’s has served the community for over 35 years, with its sister restaurant, Diane’s Trattoria, located next door.

For the holiday and beyond, patrons can order the bakery’s signature pies, which include apple pie and cobbler, pumpkin pie, pecan pie, triple berry pie, banana cream pie and chocolate mousse pie. Pastry platters, which will serve eight, are also available, as are brownies and three varieties of sweet bread: pumpkin nut, cranberry orange and corn.

Exclusively for the main meal at Thanksgiving, Diane’s will also be giving customers the option to order cooked and sliced turkey breasts, estimated to serve eight, as well as all the trimmings, including apple raisin stuffing, Yukon gold mashed potatoes, green beans and gravy. Vegetarians also have their own options, vegetable lasagna and butternut squash soup among them.

Orders for baked goods and mains from Diane’s Bakery Cafe can be placed  at 516-621-2522, with the last day to place or change an order being Sunday, Nov. 24.

Pickup days for orders will be Wednesday, Nov. 27, the day before Thanksgiving, from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m., and on the day itself, Thursday, Nov. 28, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
