At the Oct. 18 meeting of the Great Neck Board of Education, middle school students presented a special video message to express their appreciation for Board President Barbara Berkowitz, Vice President Donald Ashkenase, and Trustees Donna Peirez, Rebecca Sassouni, and Jeffrey Shi.
The video, produced and edited by GNPS/TV Director Robert Zahn and GNPS/TV Editing Supervisor Paul Derych, features television production students from North Middle and South Middle as they describe the educational opportunities made possible through the support of the Great Neck Board of Education.
The week of Oct. 22 through Oct. 26 is designated as School Board Recognition Week by the New York State School Boards Association.
