The Nassau County Council of School Superintendents held their annual Dress for Success clothing drive to provide professional business attire for women planning to return to the workforce.

School superintendents throughout Nassau County donated gently used ready-to-wear suits, jackets, dresses, skirts and blouses which will be donated to Dress for Success Brookhaven. This organization was created to empower women throughout Long Island to achieve economic independence by providing a network of support, professional attire and the necessary development tools to enable women to thrive at work and in life. Since its inception in 1999, Dress for Success Brookhaven has assisted more than 5,000 women returning to the workforce by providing appropriate business clothing.
