Temple Judea’s Lifelong Learning Committee is proud to welcome Holocaust educator, Richard Quinlan. Quinlan will speak on March 24 at 11 a.m. on the topic, “Holocaust Studies and the Fight against Hate: Using Education to Combat Rising Violence.”

In addition to his teaching at the Greenvale School, Quinlan serves as an adjunct professor of both American and Modern European history at Mercy College and as an adjunct professor of Political Science at Suffolk Community College.

Quinlan’s personal and professional life was transformed in 2015 by his participation in the Holocaust and Jewish Resistance Teachers Program, organized through the American Gathering of Holocaust Survivors and their Descendants. It motivated him to commit himself to the study of the Holocaust and working to prevent future atrocities.

All are invited to attend. There is no admission fee but reservations are requested. Please respond to (516) 621-8049 or school@temple-judea.com.

Temple Judea is located at 333 Searingtown Road, Manhasset (off exit 36 on LIE).
