Fall Festival

Saturday, Sept. 29, 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (rain date Oct. 6)

Celebrate the change of seasons at the 2018 Fall Festival that will include environmental exhibitions, live animal encounters, kids’ fishing, a petting zoo, a castle bouncer, games, refreshments, music and more.  Admission: $6 adults; $4 kids ages 3 to 12 and seniors 65 and up; members and children under age 3 are free.

Wild Weather at Jones Beach

Story Time and Activities featuring “I am Neil Armstrong”

Kids will learn about Neil Armstrong, the first man to walk on the moon, with this fun picture book series that focuses on the traits that make our heroes great. Join the story time and get a coupon from the Café for a grilled cheese sandwich with milk or juice for $4.

SeaFaire

Enjoy a family-friendly afternoon of seaworthy crafts and demonstrations.  Be the first to see the new exhibit about whaling wives, Heroines at the Helm, try the art of candle-dipping, design and carve a scrimshaw box, and hear sea shanties by “Sampawam’s Creek.”
