Long Island FunFest is the largest fair on the Island, bringing all the family fun of a state fair right to our backyard. Fun Fest is packed with free shows and entertainment, such as the amazing animals in the Eudora Farms Exotic Petting Zoo, thrilling midway rides, including the Super Cyclone Roller Coaster, exciting games and delicious fair food.

Eternal Con: The Long Island Comic Con
Saturday, June 22 and Sunday, June 23 at 10 a.m.
Eternal Con, Long Island’s premier comic book and cosplay convention, will return for its seventh season. The two-day extravaganza will include exhibitors including Best Comics, Lost4toys, Lady Arrielle, Toytastic, Big Apple Con, Killer Kollectibles and more.

Children’s Workshop: Make Your Own Scrimshaw Candle
Sunday, June 23, 12 to 2 p.m.
Scrimshaw is one of the oldest American folk arts and served as a pastime for sailors on long voyages. Children will make their own scrimshaw candle to take home. All supplies are provided. Parent supervision is required. $5 for non-members; free for members and children under 12.

Fins & Scales at Jones Beach
Sunday, June 23, 1:30 to 3 p.m.
From salmon and flounder to trout and bass, fish come in all shapes and sizes. Children ages 7 and up can find out what makes them all tick. Through dissection, the group will explore the internal and external anatomy of fish.

Jones Beach Bandshell
Tuesday, June 25 and Thursday, June 27 at 8 p.m.
The Jones Beach Bandshell returns to coincide with the start of summer. The hot lineup of concerts and events includes Kids’ Night School of Rock musical performances on Tuesday nights and Free Family Cinema Nights every Thursday, beginning with a screening of “Avengers: Infinity War” on June 27.
