The Struts at The Paramount on 11/20

The Island Now

English rock band, The Struts, comprised of vocalist Luke Spiller, guitarist Adam Slack, bassist Jed Elliott, and drummer Gethin Davies, have an unapologetic, glam-meets-rock-and-roll sound, with influences like Queen, the Rolling Stones, Aerosmith and Def Leppard.

Frontman Spiller has been described by the press as “a force of nature” and “a physical, mesmerizing entertainer… vocally strong, expressive and blessed with excellent range.”

Spiller’s looks and stage presence led Roger Goodgroves of Get to the Front to describe him as “the musical love child of Freddie Mercury and Mick Jagger.”

In just a few years, The Struts have found themselves massively embraced by some of the greatest icons in rock-and-roll history.

Along with opening for the Stones, The Who, and Guns N’ Roses, the band was hand-picked by Mötley Crüe to serve as the supporting act for their last-ever performances, while Dave Grohl praised them as the best band to ever open for the Foo Fighters.

The band says: “We believe in giving our absolute all every night, because that’s what our fans deserve. The goal is always to get everyone dancing and screaming and shouting, and to make sure they leave dripping in sweat with huge smiles on their faces.”

To experience this euphoria and The Struts live in concert, head to The Paramount on Tuesday, Nov. 20 at 8 p.m.

You can buy tickets to the show by calling 800-745-3000 or going to www.paramountny.com.
