Happy as Clams: The Musical

Saturday, May 21 at 11:30 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Tuesday, May 24 through Friday, May 27 at 10:15 a.m. and noon

Join us for a live musical adventure set in Long Island’s Great South Bay. Meet Clammy the Clam who confesses she is not “happy as a clam,” and sets out to find happiness by wishing on a star. Along the way she makes friends and meets a feisty fiddler crab, a fluke, a jelly and a sea star. Join the cast on a multi-sensory storytelling experience as you learn facts about Clammy and the other creatures of the Great South Bay. Written by award-winning family performer/journalist and Long Islander Lena Pennino-Smith, this show gets everyone singing, dancing and clamoring for more (while sneaking in some local science and geography). Back by popular demand after an amazing run last year! Happy as Clams is a joint production of LICM and Songs by Lena. Ages: 3 and up. Fee: $9 per seat with museum admission ($7 per seat LICM members), $12 theater only.
