Tickets become available on Monday, July 22, free of charge, for the Levels Teen Center’s Summer 2019 theater production, the hilarious musical comedy The Addams Family.

Performances will be held on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, Aug. 8, 9 and 10 at 8 p.m. in The Levels Teen Center on the lower level of the Great Neck Library’s Main Building, 159 Bayview Avenue in Great Neck.

Levels, the Library’s cultural center for teenagers established in 1974, presents several fully-staged theatrical productions a year. All Levels productions are traditionally directed, produced and performed by students in seventh grade through college-age.

The Addams Family is a mirthfully macabre musical starring the entire freaky and frightful family – Gomez, Morticia, Uncle Fester, Grandma, Wednesday, Pugsley, Lurch and all of their undead relatives. Daughter Wednesday, the original princess of darkness, has turned 18 and fallen in love – with a boy from a (gasp!) normal family. When the two families meet for dinner, what follows is a comedy of errors, secrets and lies – plus assorted torture devices, evil potions and monsters living under the bed.

Tickets are free of charge and are intended to guarantee seating, as space is limited. They will be available at the Circulation Desk of all Great Neck Library facilities while they last. For more information, contact Levels at (516) 466-8055 ext. 216 or email levels@greatnecklibrary.org.
