Town honors Great Neck resident at car wash benefiting Special Olympics

The Town of North Hempstead honored Great Neck resident Erin Lipinsky for his Special Olympics New York fundraising efforts at a car wash earlier this month, with Town Supervisor Judi Bosworth presenting him a citation.

The car wash fundraiser benefiting Special Olympics New York on Aug. 12 at Vigilant’s firehouse in Great Neck. Vigilant Engine Hook & Ladder Company helped to organize the event along with Lipinsky.

The annual car wash raises money for Lipinsky’s fundraising goal for the North Hempstead Polar Plunge benefiting Special Olympics New York, as well as awareness.
