Town of North Hempstead Supervisor Judi Bosworth and Town Clerk Wayne Wink joined North Shore Animal League America for the 2nd annual Walk and Wag held at North Hempstead Beach Park on Sept. 29. The event attracts walkers and their furry friends from all over to raise money and awareness for North Shore Animal League America’s “no kill mission”. Town officials presented the organization with a proclamation of recognition to celebrate the event and North Shore Animal League America’s dedication to helping animals.
Since 1944, North Shore Animal League America has worked to save the lives of dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens. To date, over a million lives have been saved.
