Town of North Hempstead Supervisor Judi Bosworth, Council Member Anna Kaplan and the Town Board celebrated Nowruz on March 20 prior to the Town Board meeting at Town Hall.

Nowruz, which translates to “new day,” is held on the first day of spring and celebrates the Persian New Year. A Haft Seen, a traditional table setting, was set up in Town Hall to commemorate the holiday.
