The fourth and fifth and graders at East Hills School in Roslyn raised $1,200 for charity working at their school store. The store is led by their Enrichment teacher, Suzanne Falcone. The student employees voted to donate their earnings to three charities. The charities selected were St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, Make a Wish Foundation and the Team Todd Foundation-Memorial Sloane Kettering Cancer Center. The donation to the Memorial Sloane Kettering Cancer Center will be in memory of former Roslyn student, Todd Rosbash.
