The stars were expected to make their way through the Village of Saddle Rock this week.
A feature film starring Scarlett Johannson, Kate McKinnon of “Saturday Night Live’’ and  Ilana Glazer of “Broad City” was scheduled to film scenes for “Rock That Body” at 160 Grist Mill Lane.
Mayor Dan Levy said the village has an appealing look that attracts movie producers to film in the area.
“We do everything we can to make it look beautiful and that’s why people come here,” Levy said. “My objective when I became mayor was to make this a more sought after village on the Great Neck peninsula, and I think we’re getting there.”
The film was expected to film on Wednesday and Thursday.
Levy said the film crew would  use some of the neighboring streets and the village’s parking lot during the two-day period.
He said that Johannson, McKinnon and Glazer were all expected to be on set during the film period.
The film, which is expected to be released in June 2017, is about a male stripper who “ends up dead at a Miami beach house during a bachelorette party weekend,” according to an IMDb summary.
Levy said a crew had been setting up at the home on Grist Mill Lane and turning it into a Florida home with palm trees and various tropical plants for several days before  filming began.
He also said that he could not disclose the fee received for allowing filming to take place in the village.
The film also stars Jillian Bell, from the Comedy Central show “Workaholics,” and Zoë Kravitz, the daughter of the musician Lenny Kravitz.
