Roslyn High School Homecoming Sept. 29

The annual Roslyn High School homecoming celebration will take place on Saturday, Sept. 29. The community is invited to enjoy the Homecoming Parade beginning at 12:15 p.m. in front of Roslyn High School. The parade will go through the Village of Roslyn and conclude at the high school.

Participating in the parade are the Roslyn fire departments, students, staff, parents, clubs and teams.

Principal Dr. Scott Andrews encourages the community to carry enthusiasm and spirit from the parade into the Varsity Girls Soccer game scheduled to begin at 1:30 p.m. The Marching Bulldogs, Roslyn High School’s marching band, will perform during halftime.

All of the Roslyn schools will be celebrating spirit week in anticipation of homecoming. The community is encouraged on Friday, Sept. 28 to watch the boys varsity soccer game against Wheatley School at 4:15pm, which will feature the Varsity Cheerleaders performing during halftime, or to watch the varsity girls volleyball team against Wantagh high school at 4:30 p.m. On Saturday, the games begin with JV football versus West Hempstead High School at 9 a.m.; JV boys volleyball vs. W.T. Clarke High School at 11:30 a.m.; varsity girls tennis vs. Syosset High School at 12 p.m.; varsity boys badminton vs. Manhasset Secondary School at 12 p.m.; and varsity boys volleyball vs. W.T. Clarke High School at 1:30 p.m. The homecoming varsity girls soccer game vs. Carle Place High School will take place on the turf field at 1:30 p.m. Come and share in Roslyn’s school spirit!
