Town of North Hempstead Supervisor Judi Bosworth and Town Clerk Wayne Wink attended the 44th Annual Law Enforcement Night hosted by the Nassau County Detectives’ Association on Oct. 19 at Leonard’s Palazzo.
The event recognized members who have performed above and beyond expectation. This year’s honorees included: 2016 Detective of the Year Richard Koplar, Law Enforcement Man of the Year for 2017 Chief Kevin Smith, Honorary Law Enforcement Man of the Year 2017 Police Officer Lou Matarazzo and 2016 Career Achievement award recipient Detective Robert Brzeski.
Bosworth and Wink gave proclamations to the honorees in recognition of their achievements.
