Wendy K. Goidel Esq.

The Island Now

Wendy K. Goidel is the founder of Goidel Law Group PLLC and Concierge Care Coordination®, a holistic practice model which seamlessly integrates care needs with legal planning.

For the past 21 years, Wendy has concentrated in the areas of elder law, estate planning and estate administration.  For a decade before that, she was a civil litigator.

Goidel is extremely passionate about helping seniors to safely and successfully age in place.  She thinks out-of-the-box, designing programs to improve the quality of life of seniors. She strives to provide services in a compassionate and caring manner while respecting the dignity and promoting the independence of seniors.

Recognizing that conversations about disability and death are difficult and emotional, Goidel is committed to diffusing tension and eliminating stress.  She earns her clients’ respect and creates lasting relationships with them so that their planning will work for them through all phases of their lives.

Goidel gives back to the community and sponsors multiple programs for cognitively impaired individuals and their caregivers.  In 2017, Goidel was honored by the Sid Jacobson JCC’s Friendship Circle and was named as one of the Top 50 Women in Business by the Long Island Business News. Wendy also serves as second vice chair of the board of directors of Make-A-Wish, Suffolk County.

Wendy graduated magna cum laude from Syracuse University (S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications) and Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law.  In 2018, Wendy established the Goidel Law Group Internship Fund at Syracuse University’s Falk College.
