PUBLIC NOTICE:
Demolishing, Purchasing & Installing Pool Tile
The Incorporated Village of East Hills (VEH) seeks bids from bidders with established tile setting experience for three years or more in installing pool tile for large commercial outdoor swimming pools. The installation includes, demolishing of existing tile, purchase and properly installing new American Olean Color Body Porcelain Mosaic Tile in two bands around the perimeter of the pool deck. Products reasonably equivalent to the products listed in the bid specifications may be provided. Vendors awarded pursuant to this bid must purchase, deliver, and install at the Inc. Village of East Hills pool facility no later than Wednesday, May 15, 2019, time being of the essence.
Copies of the bid package, which contain all the specific requirements, may be picked up at Village Hall at 209 Harbor Hill Road, East Hills, New York from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 pm each day up to 3:00 pm on April 10, 2019. All offers are subject to final approval by the Board of Trustees of East Hills, which shall determine the lowest responsible and responsive bid. VEH also retains the right at any time before acceptance of a bid, in its sole discretion, to reject or accept all proposals, to make changes on three days’ notice by fax or email to those who have submitted bids and amendment(s) at Village Hall, or cancel or postpone the bid for any reason it deems appropriate. All bids are subject to prevailing wage mandates. All bidders must sign and notarize an anti-collusion statement and all other documents required in the bid package must be submitted Bids will be opened at Village Hall at 10:30 am on the Submission Date of April 11, 2019.
