2018 Lunar New Year Celebration
Celebrate the Lunar New Year at the Andrew Stergiopoulos Ice Rink, 65 Arrandale Avenue, Sunday, Feb. 18, 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. There will be on-ice performances by local skaters, giveaways, cotton candy, crafts and more. Free admission for Park District residents with a park card who are wearing red. Everyone is welcome to attend. Non-resident fees apply. Skate rental is available at $5 per person.

Camp Parkwood Winter Season at the Parkwood Sports Complex
Children in grades K-6 can enjoy the next session of Winter Camp Parkwood over the February break (Monday, Feb. 19- Friday, Feb. 23, 9:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m.) Activities include tennis, skating, hockey, archery, gymnastics and more. The children are grouped by age; lunch may be purchased at the snack bar or can be brought from home. Residents fee is $450, while the non-residents fee $500. Daily fee for residents is $120; non-residents $150. Register online at gnparks.org or call (516) 482-0355.

Nature Program: Birding Around Great Neck
Sunday, Feb. 25, 12:30 p.m., meet in front of the main branch of the Great Neck Library on Bayview Avenue and then carpool to various birding spots where we’ll search for winter waterfowl and other birds. Weekend Movie at Great Neck House
The Wedding Plan (2017), directed by Rama Burshtein, is showing at Great Neck House, Friday, Feb. 16 at 8 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 17, at 5 and 8 p.m. and Sunday, Feb. 18 at 7:30 p.m. Starring, Noa Koler, Amos Tamam and Oz Zehavi, this film is about a bride-to-be who refuses to cancel, when her fiancé bows out on the eve of their wedding. As an Orthodox Jew, she insists that God will supply her a husband, as the clock ticks down. It is rated PG and runs 1 hour 50 minutes. Admission to Great Neck House requires a park card.

Sunday @ 2: Louis & Joann
The popular Long Island singing duo, Louis & Joann, will offer an afternoon filled with Broadway show tunes and Italian favorites on Sunday, Feb. 25 at 2 p.m. Admission to Great Neck House requires a park card.

Great Neck House Classes
A new session of classes, for adults and children, will begin at Great Neck House the week of Feb. 26 and run through the week of June 4. Birthday Parties in the Park District
Book your child’s next celebration with the Park District. Choose a skating party at the Andrew Stergiopoulos Ice Rink by calling (516) 829-4323 or a unique-themed party package at Steppingstone Park by calling (516) 482-0355. Defensive Driving Classes at Great Neck House
Great Neck House continues to offer Empire Safety Council Defensive Driving Classes. The classes run from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The next class is Saturday, March 3. To sign up for a class or for more information, call Great Neck House at (516) 482-0355.
