Be on the lookout for a cigar-smoking burglar lighting up the NCPD’s radar.

Police are investigating a robbery on Tuesday at the BP gas station located at 91 East Jericho Turnpike in Mineola in which cigars were stolen.

The Nassau County Police Department’s Third Squad was called to the station after an employee arrived for work at 6 a.m. and noticed several cigars missing from their boxes.

After reviewing the surveillance footage, it was determined that a suspect, described as a black male wearing black jeans, a white shirt and possibly a white bandana over his face, was seen entering the gas station.

He then removed the cigars from their boxes and exited the gas station, fleeing on foot in an unknown direction.

The Nassau County Police Department confirmed on Tuesday that they are still investigating the incident, and there have been no new developments.
