Albertson Water District Commissioner Richard Ockovic won his re-election on Tuesday night.

Ockovic is one of three commissioners for the district, along with Howard Abbondondelo and Kenneth Vey.

A previous Blank Slate Media article incorrectly said that Abbondondelo was up for re-election this year, it was actually Ockovic.

Commissioners serve three year terms.

The water district serves Albertson, Searingtown and parts of Roslyn Heights. The district’s 2018 budget is almost $3.4 million.

The commissioner’s fees are $25,000, according to the 2018 Town of North Hempstead adopted budget.
