A 3-year-old Williston Park girl was sent to a hospital Tuesday afternoon after falling out of her stroller after being hit or nearly hit by a car.

Babysitter Rosa Machado was crossing Hillside Avenue at Broad Street with the girl, Mia Kim, in a stroller.

A car driven by Maria Diaz hit the stroller in the crosswalk after making a left turn off of Broad Street, Machado said, causing Kim to fall out of the stroller onto the street.

Diaz said she did not hit the stroller, but that Machado fell after her car stopped short of the pair.

Machado told police at the scene that she was not hit by the car and was not hurt.

Paramedics took Mia Kim to a hospital.

Her parents, Williston Park residents Seuhwa and Minho Kim, accompanied her.
